This beautiful and free pdf pattern was easy to make and gives a ton of options. Faux or functional placket along with long or short cuffs.

I made the faux placket highlighted with buttons and the long cuff.

The fabric was a floral double brushed poly from my stash. The right pick for this look.

This pattern would also be a good contender for some mash-up possibilities.

The Linda Stretch Pant from Stylearc.com.au and BurdaStyle’s sweatshirt #111 02/2017 make a great pair.

The pants are in a black Ponte knit from Mood Fabrics and the sweatshirt is in a gray sweatshirt fabric from Joann Fabrics.

Comfortable and easy – now that’s a true casual pairing.

I cannot say enough good things about the Carlsbad Cardigan from the Sew Beautiful book by Kennis Wong of Itch to Stitch.

It is 3 simple pattern pieces with a simple drape. The mitered corners gives a professional finish. For an extra special touch I finished the hems with a double needle. This is a great finish on knits.

I am nuts for knits and nuts for this cardigan!
